PURPOSE
Voltage generator is assigned for testing devices supplied by three-phase voltages. It enables simulation of system asymmetry and fault/decay of arbitrary phase voltage. It is used e.g. for protection systems checking.
CHARACTERISTIC
Single phase supply voltage 50 Hz, after reducing is shifted by angle 120°, for three phase star making. After amplification, the voltages are fed to output by step-up transformer.
Generator has two-stage voltage control – concurrent for selected phases and separate for each single phase with possibility of elimination given phase.
